- Adjust
height of seat pad so that the handle position is in line with the
middle of the sternum
- Press
foot pedal to extend the handles into the starting postion
- Select
grip (neutral or barbell) and release foot pedal
- Lift/Lower
the weight in a smooth, controlled manner
- Exhale
as you push forward, inhale as the arms return to the start position
- Do
not hold breath
